Change in the Name and Benchmark Index of the Nordea Pro Finland Fund

The name of the Nordea Pro Finland fund will be changed to Nordea Finnish Enhanced. At the same time, the fund’s benchmark index will be updated. With this change, we aim to ensure that your investment remains up to date and continues to offer the best opportunities in line with market developments.

Why is the name being changed?

We continuously develop our funds to provide you with up-to-date and attractive investment opportunities. With this change, we aim to harmonize and clarify fund names. In addition, the Nordea Pro Finland fund is managed according to the Enhanced product strategy, which means that the new name “Nordea Finnish Enhanced” better reflects the fund. Enhanced funds are actively managed funds, but their level of activeness — that is, the deviation from the benchmark — is relatively small. Nordea’s Enhanced funds are equity funds that offer an alternative to traditional passive and active funds. Their objective is to provide better returns than the index, while maintaining lower costs.

Why is the benchmark index changing?

The new benchmark index provides a broader investment universe, as the maximum weight of a single company decreases from 9 percent to 7 percent. This supports the fund’s investment strategy
