Notice to the unitholders of certain Nordea Funds
We are renewing our fund selection with the aim of offering our customers high-quality investment products. As part of our efforts, we are amending the rules of Nordea Allokeringsfond Fund, Nordea Discretionary Asset Allocation Fund, Nordea Fixed Income Credit Opportunities Fund, Nordea Conservative Yield Fund, Nordea Yield Fund, Nordea Kreditt Stars Fund, Nordea Obligasjon Stars Fund and Nordea Tactical Asset Allocation Fund.
The method to measure the total risk of the funds is specified for derivative instruments. The funds use the Value at Risk (VaR) method which represents the maximum loss with a given degree of confidence and is calculated over a certain period of time. If, for instance, the one-month VaR is 6 % with a 95 % degree of confidence, there is a 95 % probability that the maximum loss of the fund will be 6 % in any given month.
The amended rules will enter into force on 13 April 2021. The amendment to the rules requires no action from the unitholders and won’t affect the risk levels of the funds. The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority confirmed the amendment to the rules on 12 February 2021.
