Notice to the unitholders of Nordea funds
We are continuously developing our fund selection with the aim of offering our customers sustainable, high-quality investment products. As part of this process, we are amending the rules of Nordea funds registered in Finland.
Our goal is to harmonise and modernise the rules of our funds. The amendments are technical or based on updated legislation, such as the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
The funds’ investment strategies, risk levels and fees will remain unaffected.
Each fund’s rules comprise fund-specific rules as well as the common rules for all Nordea funds as before. The fund-specific rules govern the funds’ investment strategy, primary investments and any exemptions from or restrictions on investments permitted by the common rules. Moreover, the fund-specific rules contain information about the fund’s cut-off time, base currency, possible FX hedges and other similar features of each individual fund.
In accordance with the Finnish Act on Common Funds, the common rules now include an option to redeem a customer’s fund units without an order issued by the customer in exceptional circumstances as provided by the Act.
The amendments will enter into force on 10 May 2022.
